Say no to 1A thru 1F on May 19, 2009
People of California, isn't it time to say stop to the crooks in Sacramento yet ? Haven't they dipped into your pockets, on behalf of the special interest groups they represent enough ? Now this new scheme to make you believe prop 1A (on May 19, 2009 special election) will curb spending. What they do not tell you is, it will extend the newly imposed "temporary" tax hikes for two more years. Reason ? To create a rainy day fund. Yeah "rainy day fund" my ass. The first thing if, god forbid, 1A gets approved, is, tecahers' union is going to dip into the rainy day fund to fill up their coffers first per prop. 1B. Why ? Because there were cuts in the order of billion(s) which they feel they were entitled to but not given.With the housing market in dumps, 1 out of every 10 people on the street is out of work, tax hikes is the last thing you want to do. If you want more people to leave the state to hang it out to dry without any tax dollars that they are contributing, go right ahead. I am on the next plane out. But if you want people with a little bit of brains to stay in California, say no to all of these scams, across the board.
