After a Long Hiatus
This blog has not been for almost two years. Meanwhile, I joined the ranks of people whose daily commutes are ungodly. How does 70 miles one-way commute sound to you ? Especially knowing that I am driving an SUV which barely makes an abysmal 18-19 miles per gallon on the highway ?Also another rank I have ascended (or descended would be more appropriate I suppose) is the people who pay incredible amounts of money for 4 walls and a roof. Of course this is southern California and it is expected. If the housing boom goes like that, before I make any contribution to the principal payments on this house, I can sell it and retire to a third world country :) I know it is just wishful thinking but in the last year since I signed the papers for this house and today, the prices in my neighborhood, took off. One can only hope...
